This is a beautiful piece. It is lighthearted and just a gem. This is also perfect for ANY size figures simply because it's an angel. The opening of the wings makes such an impact! The display itself is on a small base so it can be set anywhere in the installation without looking odd. Sadly, one hand came broken off but Holyart took appropriate measures to correct it. There is also a smaller version of this and just as nice. So much so that I previously purchased 2 identical ones; which are also great for any size displays. The dressing choice is subdued and lightly shiny and very well made and attached. You cannot see where the motor is because between the angel and the robe it's fully covered. This particular angel has much more detail in every aspect than the smaller and less expensive version (which were also lovely but a plastic figure with movable plastic wings) and this figure is clay and hand made. In my opinion; this is a must have for any Nativity, especially for the people that only set a typical 11-13 piece traditional nativity. It just brings it to life. Although mine came broken; I gave it 5 stars because it was very worthy, and I cannot say enough good things about Holyart's customer care and problem solving skills: superb without a doubt.

Schöne Engel von Nicla New. Die Bewegung funktioniert tadellos. Einziges kleines ungewöhnliches Manko. Im Gegensatz zu sonst ist der Motorkasten nicht getarnt. Das ist etwas schade. Deswegen nur 4 Sterne. TW

This is one of the best purchases I have for my Nativity. It's just the right size for the annunciation next to Mary, and fits well inside the house. I also placed a little bit of cotton in front of the angel's to suggest a cloud, as I have seen on a photo of the annunciation.
