Just breathtaking! Truly ; Italian craftsmanship is at it's best here!@ I will begin by noting that this installation is "SUPER BIG"/. This will definitely NOT FiT in a small area display because the whole installation is too big and will most likely overwhelm it. In my case it was fine because my displays are huge and I do have a huge base for all to sit on. This display will look good on a 5,6,7,& 8 inch display. It is delightful & light hearted, and if you're not careful how you display it; will undoubtedly be the focal point of the Nativity, simply because it "spreads out" a lot due to it's size. This display is lighted as well as the man's hand movement carrying the candle is right out of a Dicken's novel! It came with an awkward plug in, but I decided to try and change it to a regular plug in used in the US and it worked without any problems. You must all be mindful in the knowledge that everything coming from Europe is most likely going to be 220V, when in the US the norm is 110volts. I use an array of things in my nativity displays: transformers, adaptors and have in the past replaced 220 volts motors for 110volts and they work just fine, extensions, etc., in order to best accommodate any of my scenes. It looks and feels as if Uncle Scrooge went to sleep and woke up in the Nativity! This piece MUST be placed in areas were there is plenty of open area so that it doesn't compete with the buildings otherwise both , the buildings and this installation will look odd. Overall it is a fantastic piece; especially when used appropriately in any display.
